At HHHI, integrity is at the core of the Company's values. The Company is strongly committed to compliance with all laws and regulations. Integrity governs HHHI's actions in all relationships, including those with patients, referral sources, suppliers, employees and others. Any behavior or action that is less than ethically appropriate in any way is not tolerated.

The following are the main features of HHHI's Corporate Compliance Program:

  • Structured monitoring protocols designed to detect potential fraud and abuse issues with corrective action or training as appropriate.
  • Utilization of a variety of branch, regional, corporate and external monitoring protocols.
  • Training and staff education to insure an understanding of the guidelines and policies.
  • Established policies and procedures to guide employees in appropriate business practices, comply with the laws and government regulations and reduce the likelihood of wrongdoing. Each employee receives a copy of the HHHI Compliance Program and Code of Ethics and submits a signed attestation.
  • An Integrity Hotline for either anonymous reporting of actual or perceived improper behaviors. This hotline prevents a fear of retribution.

HHHI's Compliance Program provides a mechanism for all employees to seek assistance in areas of uncertainty. Furthermore the Compliance Program requires all employees to report any and all activities which they believe may violate laws, regulations or Company policies.

To prepare for the upcoming Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA"), HHHI has designated an individual to the role of Privacy and Security Officer for the organization.
